The small European town featured in the TVC was a set built indoors in a production studio in India. It was within this controlled environment that the production team was able to capture "the fastest Pulsar yet".

Our team at MFX used matte paintings to extend the indoor set, creating the backgrounds and providing a vibrant outdoor atmosphere of a bustling street. Elements such as the CGI giant bubble and matte painted clock tower were also created by MFX and composited into the environment.

To create the slow-motion sequence, all the flying elements were shot separately with a high speed camera; some against green screen - such as the dried leaves, popcorn, paper, smoke, sugar packets blown off the cafe tables, background and foreground. These were all shot as separate layers, which allowed our compositor to manipulate the timing and speed of each layer to create a dramatic slow-motion effect.

The challenge was in compositing all the components to create one seamless and cohesive sequence. With the combined skills and dedication of our team, we were able to complete the TVC within a tight 2-week schedule, and deliver a high quality TVC befitting the standards of Bajaj's Pulsar brand of motorbikes.
