Positioning themselves as 'The Coatings Expert', Nippon Paint has launched a new range of products that work on all kinds of different surfaces including glass, ceramic, wood and metal for both household and industrial environments.
The artists at MFX were excited to work with TBWA Kuala Lumpur, along with Take Two Productions and The Sweet Shop, on this latest spot featuring the fun and energetic Blobbies. Only this time, the little blobs have grown up and feature different characteristics that reflect Nippon's new products. From the textured Momento special-effect paint blobby to the translucent wood varnish blobby, and most exciting of all, the Mini Blobbies spraying out of a Pylox aerosol can.
Each required fresh character designs and a lot of thought put into their animation. The greatest challenge was ensuring their colours and textures looked like the actual paint products, while having them parkour their way across different surfaces!
